As was previously reported, just before 1:00 a.m., on February 5, 2023, El Paso County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a shooting at an address in the 12200 block of Point Reyes Drive in the Meridian Ranch subdivision of Falcon in unincorporated El Paso County. 

There they discovered multiple gunshot victims and despite life-saving measures by first-responders and medical personnel, two juvenile victims of that shooting have died from their injuries.

We have identified persons of interest in this case. It is our belief this was an isolated incident and involved persons were known to each other.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division is working on this case as a matter of priority and continues to search for leads. Witnesses are an essential component of many investigations, but in this instance, many witnesses have refused to cooperate or come forward which has slowed progress.
