Sex Offenders Search

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute 16-22-112, most recently modified and amended by Colorado House Bill 1035, law enforcement agencies are authorized to release information about registered sex offenders living within the agency’s jurisdiction on the agency’s website. Not all sex offenders registered with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are published here. Per CRS 16-22-112, first time misdemeanor offenders and some juveniles are excluded from this list. For a complete list of all registered sex offenders, contact Dawn Capps at (719) 520-7333 or [email protected]

The confidential information is provided to you so that you can adequately protect yourself and your children from these individuals.

The sex offender registry includes only those persons who have been required by law to register and who are in compliance with the sex offender registration laws. You should not rely solely on the sex offender registry as a safeguard against perpetrators of sexual assault in your community. The crime for which a person is convicted may not accurately reflect the level of risk.
