Feb 9, 2016 - 9:15am

On November 2, 2015, Deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Tari Drive regarding a home invasion.  Sean Burrows DOB: 4/3/86, was quickly identified as a person of interest and the Sheriff's Office worked with several jurisdictions from across the state and Washington in an effort to locate this individual.

On Friday, February 5, 2016, in a collaborative effort with the Seattle Police Department Narcotics Division, the Tacoma Police Department Gang Unit and tips from the public, Sean Michael Burrows was taken into custody, as he was wanted by multiple jurisdictions for crime sprees.  At the time of his arrest he had 13 Felony arrest warrants out of Colorado for crimes including Theft, Burglary, and Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft.

Evidence was also recovered linking him to numerous new crimes in Colorado and Washington to include several stolen vehicles and identity theft tools. The total extent of his crime spree is unknown, but to date estimates suggest an amount exceeding $500,000.  Burrows is currently incarcerated in Washington and being held without bail while he awaits extradition to Colorado.

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Seattle Police Department Narcotics Division, the Tacoma Police Department Gang Unit and the public for their cooperation and assistance in helping apprehend Burrows.
