Sheriff's Office Looking for Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Fraud Case

Aug 23, 2016 - 10:25am

On Monday, August 8, 2016, a male suspect stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of the victim’s residence in the 1100 block of Pipestone Court. A wallet containing the victim’s driver's license, gift cards, $83 cash, and a Wells Fargo debit card were stolen. Through the course of our investigation it was learned the stolen debit card was used at the 7-11 located at 510 Security Boulevard in an attempt to purchase gas. $2.75 was approved; however the remaining charge of $32.72 was pending due to insufficient funds in the account.

The suspect is seen pulling up to the pump in a “station wagon” type vehicle and pumps the gas. The suspect then goes inside the 7-11 and purchases lottery tickets with cash.

The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male in his late 20's to early 30's.  He has a shaved head, goatee, and is wearing a Dallas Cowboys #80 Bennett blue and white football jersey with tan pants.

Surveillance photos are attached to this Media Release.  If anyone can identify this suspect and/or know of his whereabouts, please contact Deputy Rachel Lamb at [email protected] or 719-216-4756.
